2014/2015 Pay Offer Consultation Ballot

UWS Branch of UNISON have sent out ballot papers via the internal mail to all members as part of the consultation on whether members wish to accept or reject the employers’ pay offer of a 2% increase from August 2014.

Full details of the 2014/15 pay offer is enclosed with the ballot paper or can be viewed here. In addition, the final offer is based on the understanding that it would settle the pay negotiations for 2014-15 and would draw a line under the 2013-14 negotiating round and dispute.

Ballot papers must be returned by Thursday 22 May 2014 to UWS UNISON Branch Secretary on the Paisley Campus in order for you to have your say.

The results from the UWS UNISON Branch ballot, as with other branches, will be fed back to the UNISON Higher Education Service Group Executive who will meet on 30 May 2014 to consider the results.

It is vital that you tell the Higher Education Service Group Executive what YOU think. It is important that YOU vote and have YOUR say. If you reject the offer, you must be prepared to take further sustained strike action to try and win an improved offer.

Ballot papers were sent out on Friday 16 May via the internal mail – if you haven’t received them by Wednesday 21 May please email unison.secretary@uws.ac.uk to let us know.
